Sup Y'all?

What is professionalism? Is it a behavior you display to let people know you're serious about your chosen profession or metier? Is it a acquired composure you display? Calm, cool, collected, in the face of overwhelming or even exasperating adversity? Or is it a "I been here before, I got this dawg mentality?" You know it's all of the above.

Last night at The Bubble House in University City a Local favorite WrittenHouse displayed these aforementioned qualities. The speakers were busted, the mpc couldn't be heard well, the venue didn't have a proper sound man. But! Despite this, they put on one hell of a show! In Philly artist don't appreciate each others talents enough. We take our respective skills for granted and see each other as rivals and not comrades. So I'm bucking this tendency. A good show is a GOOD SHOW! Regardless if it's our team or not. So I'm taking this blog space showing the WrittenHouse team some love! They deserve it! Again thanks family!

Branchin Out

Sup Y'all?

"Branching Out" Is it like the leaves on the trees? Or is it a metaphor for outgrowing the place you are currently in? This team...South Broad, has always thought of ourselves as being larger than life. So in our own personal esteemed opinion. Life is too small for us here. Don't get us wrong. We love Philly! Does it love us back? That remains to be seen.

For now we got some new shit on deck! D.C. and New York! Where ever South Broad is wanted. Because we give a show and a show is what they'll get.
I am often reminded of the French. They have a saying... " Le voyage forment les juneness." (Travel strengthens the young.) It will also strengthen this team. Until next time family. Make it happen like rappin! Keep the music in your heart.

A world apart....

Something we decided to do on our own initiative was lauch
a project from one of our favorite Mc's who we didn't know
was a producer. We're talkin about our man Blu. We put it

all togather and came up with some memorable stuff. These dudes are on to something! : hell yeah!!!

We decided to step it up a notch and get into the blog game. I hope everyone who reads these blogs finds them informative and entertaining! We gonna try to do our best to keep you up to date on what's goin on with the South Broad crew. Whatever it maybe....New projects, New Photos, Videos, etc... We are still learning how this blog thing works. When we get the hang of it, watch out! Cuz we'll be lettin all the balls drop.
